veo 180 download problems

I downloaded version 2.1.0 installed the drivers I have no exclamation marks in device manager. I open oceanlog go to the dive section click the add/download new dive(s)
add dive window opens download from PDC is checked and veo 180nx is selected I click ok and whole computer locks up any sugestions???
