Hi All,
My buddy and I had an chance today to try a Terkel Equipment Co.spool. www.terkel.net .The delrin spool is made differently than the traditional spool. This spool has a larger center hole and beveled end plates allowing for a better grip with thick neoprene or dry gloves on. We both have a small hands and have had problems holding the traditional spool. The spool really makes a difference for us when using it. Easier to maintain control and reel it in. Check it out you may like it.

Cripes the thing is more expensive than the Halcyon.

I am not convinced that the beveled ends and larger hole is the answer either.

The web site is one of the worst that I have come across as well.

Terkel (Wet Dane) needs to make some changes if he wants to make an impact.

It is a nice looking setup but way to pricey.Ill pass on this one.I can get a canadian extreme for 33.00.I am going to buy one this week and think the canadian extreme is the best deal along with one of there backup lights.
