Just got back from a wreck just off Port Dalhouise.

It's an old tiller schooner. it was great, in tact and lieing on it's side. Some penetration possible but not alot to see inside.

It looks like it was maybe stripped before it sank because there is no riggin on it or deadeyes.

but it was still a great wreck in Lake Ontario.

It was deep, ~110 feet (to the bottom), vis ~60feet and cold 41F

We had a couple of free flows,... mine being one of them on the first dive,... so only saw it for about 7 minutes,... the second dive went much better.

Great weekend for the end of Sept!!

have a good one.

Jeff

The wreck is pretty neat for the first 2 dives.. After that the excitement wears off quickly. I dove the "Tiller" three times so far (and had to abort one wekend 'cause i felt like crap :-( ) At the only thing making me come back is the fact the wreck is below 100ft. Those depth are usually hard to come by around the Niagara Area. If we could only find a few more wrecks out there...
