We have 4 divers in our family and purchased Zeagle Envoys based on rental use, reviews and cost. For the diving we do (so far West Palm, Keys, Gulf around Naples, 70 ft max) these are great regs and couldn't be more satisfied.
Although we haven't had any problems, I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to add the environmental seal kit? Has anyone done this on their Envoys? Is there any affect on performance?

My understanding is eviromental sealing is used for cold water diving for its "antifreeze" abilitys and to help keep crud from entering the mechanics of the reg. So unless you are diving in cold or very dirty waters then its probably not worth it. Although it may help extend its working life if you dont follow the yearly maintainace procedure.
