Im still looking to get a dry suit but for now this is what I have. What do you think of my current set. Is there anything that I should change.

I think it looks pretty good, but it is more important what you think about it.

I tried everything out in the pool yesterday and everything works well. Im just glad that after three years I will no longer need to rent

Change it all, from your address to mine! DO IT NOW! :D

You have a good set up but more important is how YOU feel about it. Enjoy it and if you take care of it you will get many many good service years.

I am not a fan of retractors but if you like it run with it . . .

I dive what I am comfortable with as do most people on this board if you are comfortable with it awesome!!! Kudos to you for actually buying all your gear to BTW!!!

I can't say I know every item in detail but it seems like a very nice set-up.

I'd be tempted to move the back-up light to a higher RH D-ring to make it handier for daytime use when you want to look in or under something. I assume the big light will be carried only on an as needed basis.

Add a Storm Whistle, $4

Make sure the first few open water dives are in comfortable locations with a trusted buddy.

Very good point. Also a SMB at the bottom of the bc in the rear might be good.
Backup lift/ surface float/ "can you see me now", etc.

Plus, your buddies get to see your "red tail" bobbing in the water.
