Me and a buddy will be heading over to Halifax on Oct. 5-9. Wondering if anyone would be interested in diving on the 6 or 7 or both. Be nice to meet someone who knows the local dive sites.

I'm an AOW with a wreck specialty and over 100+ dives.
 
You will find lots of great diving in the Halifax area...some real nice wrecks as well... Check out Torpedorays Scuba Shop they will have a list of charters as well as some organized shore dives... I believe their web site is www.torpedorays.com

I second the recommendation for Torpedo Rays. I went to Halifax in April and had a great time doing some shore dives. I got to go diving with a couple of Torpedo Rays staff and they were very knowledgable and professional.
