:icon10: The previous thread was closed after 24 hours for some reason, so I am reposting with some mods:

I am interested in buying a Transplate. I own a Zeagle Stilleto with a 30# wing in good condition. How difficult is it to mount this wing on the Transplate? I would prefer not to have to drill and saw a brand-new plate.

If this works, I can put together a Transplate set up from the internet for $200. One site states that this includes a set of DR SS tank cam bands.

Looks like you will need a backplate with slots for cambands - the DR ones on Leisure Pro's site don't have them - you might look at the OMS plates at http://www.divers-supply.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=backplate - you should be able to get an OMS comfort harness and AL plate for $163 with free shipping - then you just need cam bands.

All of our BP's that we've sold over the last 3 years or so do have cam strap slots. Leisure Pro is NOT a Dive Rite dealer and doesn't update their photos therefore would be one of the worst places to look to see what Dive Rite offers.

I mounted my Brigade 35# bladder on a DR aluminum plate for a while until I could afford a new wing. Worked great. You definitely need a plate with slots, though.
