Fantastic pics. What is the purpose of the gnome ?

Love the Hopkins Rose.

Where'd you shoot the two Mexichromis?

On the Valiant...

Ken, there were a number of mating pairs of Mexichromis in the vicinity of the Valiant's bow.

Nice shots, Howard... I especially liked the Hopkins rose since I've never seen one here on Catalina, only in mainland waters.

Thanks Dr. Bill... I guess I was the only one who saw the Hopkins Rose (thanks to your dive plan ). It was at the Seafan Grotto Site... Everyone else was ahead of me, and I saw that nudi just sitting in the sand at about 100 FSW.

We're looking forward to our return trip to So Cal :D

HAH! That's the only place I've ever seen a Hopkins on Catalia.

Too funny.
