hi,
I am planning on getting a scubapro mk25/S600 from my LDS and the Atomic SS1 from a not too LDS... This will likely be on an Aeris BC

I have seen comments relating to 1st stage air pressure requirements of atomic SS1... are their compatability issues i should be aware of?

Why not just get an Atomic first stage as well? B2 or Z2? They are built to work with the SS1 and I think the Atomic is a better reg anyway.

the mk25/s600 is from my lds which has offered (and given) excellent support and service. Unfortunately they doesnt do atomic..

I am attracted to the SS1 cos of the low profile and the ability to swap across BCs with the quick disconnect. The atomic dealer is 75 miles away but I was justifying the ss1 based upon a 2yr service requirement.

Service may be a PITA but the combo should work fine if that is what you want.

Go for Mk25/S600 never regret good performance regs
