I've been looking for a jacket style, weight integrated system. If anyone has any thoughts about the Tusa BCD, it would be greatly appreciated.

Jacket BC's are kind of commodity items with prices on basic models in the $200 and change range, even from dive shops. Not knowing what kind of diving you plan to do (warm/cold water or photography) it is hard to comment. Check out some of the reviews on Rodale's Scubadiving and Divernet (although the later has a lot of models not sold in the US). A lot of people around here use backplates and think that they are perfect for everyone. My view is different.

If you are not a photographer take a look at the Zeagle Scout and Escape, Seaquest Balance and DiveRite Transpac ll with Travel Wings. These are all back bouyancy BC's.

On weight integrated BC's try to avoid weight systems that release using Velcro. Too many people report lost weights.

Why do you say they are good if you are not a photographer?

Back inflate BC's tend to help you stay in a horizontal position underwater. This is condusive to regular diving, preventing silting, etc.

However, photographers like to get in all sorts of strange positions, and having a jacket style BC tends to be condusive to this.
