Let's talk excercise.

What do you do to keep your body fit for diving?

What do you do on endurance training: running, cycling etc.

What do you do on strength training: weight lifting, climbing etc.

What else do you do that has direct benefits for your diving? (cross training)

I jog. 3 miles, 5 to 6 times a week. I have noticed that I suck a lot less air when I have cardio endurance.

Gym / rollerblading / mountainbiking 3 days minimum per week.

Actually I try to do 20 - 30 minutes of light cardio within 24 hours of going diving.

Well.... even the very fit need to ingest muscle relaxants from time to time.

:D

Problem with booze is that it shortens your life. Not that you necessarily die sooner but hangovers are a waste of life energy.....

The stationary bike might be ok... the seated ones especially. I have back problem every now and then, and sometimes that is the only piece of equipment I can use. At least then you are doing _something_.

Just my $0.02

A combo rowing/running/lifting.

After law school, I needed to drop about 30 pounds, I finally promised myself a new drysuit when I got that done. Since then (early September) I've dropped 10, so 20 to go.

Ridiculous what the promise of new scuba gear will accomplish.

I'm on a major health/fitness/fat loss quest right now, so I do 45-60 minutes on my eliptical 5-6x a week. .

Lift weights 3x a week (mostly upper body), and do crunches for my abs and back 6x a week.

Try to fit in yoga 3x a week, though have to admit I'm only successful about 1-2x a week right now.
