This springs from another thread (about changes in the dive industry) that mentions "cheap consumers" who presumably use very inexpensive dive equipment.
The question: Are you a "cheap cosumer"? For example (if you don't mind me asking...) what did you pay for your
1) regulator setup
2) Dive computer
3) mask
5) Fins

I'll even go first...regulator was about $250 (from a friend getting out of diving)
Computer $185 Mask (current) $60 Fins $85

Yup, I'm cheap!

How about you?

Atomic B2 first and second, Z2 as Octo ($690)
Mask Tusa PanoGeo ($60)
Atomic SplitFins ($180)
Oceanic Pro 2 ($700)
Scubapro Knighthawk ($550)

All LDS prices, not not necessarily the same one.

This question violates the first rule of SCUBA: Never talk about the cost of SCUBA. :D

Never add up the costs of all your equipment... ignorance is bliss.

Yeah but "cheap" is relative. I like to think of it as "value".

I try to save money but it always backfires on me. I always end up needing to buy something else (that’s works) or getting things fixed so in the end I spend more :(
