Short Version:

I want to get certified this weekend, does anyone know of a good outfit in florida that can do this for me Sat. Sun Mon or any combination of the days. I will pay large amounts

Explanation:

My instructor has screwed me twice with regards to the dive trip. I have all pool sessions and test work done. I have waited months for this, and now he has screwed me again. Not to mention I'm in the middle of Florda right now and I'm from Atlanta. He notified me via email way too late. I am willing to take all the tests over again, but I'm not going home without a certification. I would like a good outfit who deserves my money. Is this possible?

thanks folks!

Call Capt. Gary at Conch Republic Divers in Tavernier or PM him he is on this board. A great operation.

PM GDI. He is a board member, independant instructor, etc. To find him, look to the sticky thread at the top of the Basic Scuba Discussions forum. My buddy list says that he is online as I type.

I'm in Valdosta Georgia (basically Georgia/Florida border, so I'm willing to go just about anywhere in Florida.
I can be here any length of time, depending on when I figure this mess out.

thanks for the start guys

So I keep getting a bunch of maybes...is there anyone in Florida willing to certify me (someone who has already been through tests and skills) this weekend (including Monday if necessary) for a price beyond what you would normally charge?

If you are in or around gainesville, call Lloyd Bailey's, Waterworld and the Aquatic Center.

LB 352 332 0738
WW: 352 37SCUBA
AC 3523773483

google them and put gainesville in the search thing too, you can find their hours.

all of them are good places, might let you do all your dives on sunday or something. If they are running a class, the class will probably be leaving at like 8 inthe morning, before the shop opens. They just meet there and head to the place. Might be too late to join in that, but if you offered to pay well they might could find someone to take you out saturday afternoon and or sunday.

Check with C&N Divers in central Florida (Mount Dora to be exact).

I work for them some & we have a trip going to Boynton Beach on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.

Here is their website.

I got good news...I'll explain more later, but I'm meeting up with my new instructor, trekdiver, later today, I'm in Winter Haven FL, or as I mispoke earlier, Dive Haven...for me, at this point, it is a dive haven

Yes you are right, my memory for names sucks, tell him the guy who bought the Starry Starry Night portrait his wife painted. If he doesn't remember me.
