Okay heres one I'm a little unsure about:

I've recently moved from a weight belt to soft weight in the bcd. I presume the bcd material is strong, but do wonder when I pick it up by a strap or handle, how long it will last with me picking it up with 10kgs of lead in it. If I go the other way and remove the weight pockets all the time I presume the clips will wear eventually.

Any ideas, just continue and pick it up like normal or start removing the pockets?

Cheers!

No worries, I leave the weights in.
