Sorry- wanted a title that might catch someone's curiosity. That's the best alliteration I could come up with on short notice.

Hi all. I'm in Melbourne for a while. We have a friend who had a stroke and I thought I was coming down to say goodbye and attend a funeral. Turns out he has stabilized and is getting better and better- got out of the ICU today. I'm staying at his house here in Melbourne.

I had planned to possibly do some diving in SC on my way home but since it looks like I'll be here a while longer... if anyone would be interested in doing some shore dives somewhere around here, drop me a line. I'm not interested in paying for a charter- I'll dive if I only have to rent a couple tanks and maybe weights (but I should have enough with me).

So- throwing out the idea to see if anyone's interested. I'm not sure I'll go diving at all even if the opportunity arises- depends on my friend's condition etc. He's priority #1 right now.

Just up the road from ya, Cocoa Beach. I have a small group headed to Key Largo this weekend. We are making 2 Spiegle dives and NOAAs Aquarius sealab. You are welcome to come along. If the water stays flat I will probably beach dive during the week next week

Whereabouts...?

I don't want to stray too far but now that Jack's out of the ICU his visiting hours are 9-9 and this weekend I'm hoping some friends come to see him.

That said, whereabouts? I'll consider almost anything (stir crazy)!

Okay, pls keep me informed.

Does it show my total ignorance if I ask what you mean byNOAAs Aquarius sealab? Are you diving in that location or are you going in a submarine thingy? Wha?

If you'll have me for a beach dive I'd enjoy that.

A BIG THANK YOU...

To cudachaser and Bill51 for the awesome diving today. It was my first "spring" dive- and a lot of fun.

We saw all kinds of fish that we don't have in the quarries in Ohio...

FANTASTIC.

And nice to meet you both- look forward to doing it again sometime!
