What the heck is that thing in the first pic?

Very nice, btw! I love cuttlefish....
 
It looks like a type of sea urchin, but upside down. The mouth is centered and in the right place, but way extended. I dont recognize the different colored spines though ... very different from the ones ontop.

Beautiful pictures Nick. Loved the DOF on the last photo and that the colors and background of the cuttlefish photo are a bit different from the usual cuttlefish shot. Ghost pipefish with diver was cool.
 
Looks like you are right at home with the new camera Nick! Great variety of shots.

It is a type of Urchin that is all over Indonesia....called a Astropyga Radiata.

Tell the diver to clear his mask :).

Hope all is well and things have gotten back to normal.
