I have a Minolta Dimage 7i camera and the minolta 5400hs flash, which communicate with each other via radio. I'm wondering if anyone knows if the radio link will work underwater? I'd hate to spend all that money for housings etc, and have it not work.

Sea water conducts and so behaves like Faraday's cage. So the radio link will not work. There are exceptions at very long wave lengths but I would not expect this to be the case here.
