I just downloaded a program called JAlbum that makes photo albums for posting up on your own website. here are the ones i made and a link to the website is at the bottom of my slideshows. These pics are all similar to the others i posted the other day. Overall i really like this software and it is mostly easy to use. I think there is a lot of potetial with it. and it is FREE. it also runs very stable unlike most freeware. seems to be demanding of RAM.

Yup, I've been using jalbum for a while for my web page. It's also moderately easy to modify for your needs, has a lot of skin choices and has a very active and helpful forum to answer questions and get feedback.

Haven't set up a slide show using it, though.

Alcina, does this allow you to do the "Ken Burns" effect -- zoom in/out? Or does it just do a slide show? I'm thinking I need to get some software to start doing a bunch of shows but I want/need to add music, zoom in/out, etc. Any recommendations?

Windows Movie maker. Simple and easy to use. Just import the pictures, drag them to the story board, edit for special effects and drag and drop scene transitions between the pictures on the story board then just import your audio, drag and drop it and your done. It's pretty much a drag and drop program for dumbies.
