i just got a brand new pair of SB105 strobes (thanks to the SB103 recall). I'm considering getting a case for my Canon 30d instead of using the Nikonos on my next dive trip. Would the SB105 be useful with the 30d? its probably better to sell both SB105s and get a ?

thanks.

nothing wrong with those strobes!

they have plenty of power settings and give a nice light. I think you are fine using them unless you are looking to get an Ike housing and ike TTL.

if you want to shoot manual, like a lot of people do, they are a great choice

We have lots of customers who use SB105 w/ SLR housings and get great results! Most customers wish they had more manual control, but especially when combined with diffusers and flexible arms (so you can move them closer or farther away) there is enough to work with.
