spring break?

hey all-
when does spring break "start"??? thinking of booking a trip for march to Playa del Carmen/Cozumel, but don't want to be overrun by "breakers"!!!! thanks!

thinking of going the week of May28th to june3rd... still full of breakers?
i know there's gonna be people there no matter what... just trying to avoid the college crowd (or most of it , anyway)

We've been down there several times for spring break, as long as you're not in Cancun you should be fine, the further south of PDC you don't even know it's spring break.

Spring Break is basically the last two weeks of March and the First two of April

Cancun is dangerous during spring break. The residents down there I've talked to won't even go out of there houses, especially at night.

No experience with PDC area.

I like May in Cancun, the locals are happy to have "normal" people back.

No spring brakers in Cozumel and maybe a few in Playa. The place for all of them is Cancun, stay away from it.
