Hey... I just wanted to send out a big Howdy to all of our new members from Scuba Sciences. Welcome aboard!

avoidthebends: Welcome. If you haven't already done so, check in at the Introductions Forum... http://scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=19
Everyone likes to say Hi.

divecondave: Hey there! I have a 4 kids, too. All but the oldest dives... makes outfitting and traveling purdy darn expensive, huh? You might like to keep tabs on the Classifieds... http://scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=220 There are some GREAT deals to be found there and you can save a TON of money.

missy01: Nice to have you aboard! Check out the Women's Forum... http://scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=89

scubadiver3: I see that you joined in October 04 but have never posted until now. C'mon man... you can do better than that. We expect more from you in the future. Now get busy and start a thread! :D Check out the Photography Forum... http://scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3 These guys are GOOD!

Timmay: Glad To Have Ya Here.... But You Just Gotta Stop Capitalizing Every Word. I Know What You Have To Say Is Important But...You're Killing Me! :D

turtleturtle: Hi. Welcome. Now you stay away from the MOF/NMOF thread... http://scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=166134 That's no place for a kid like you.

sugarshane: Howdy pardner! You might like to check out the Instructor to Instructor to Instructor Forum... http://scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=82 You have to submit your instructor number to get in... I forgot exactly how to do it but you can ask in the site support forum... http://scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=93 You can find an answer to just about anything related to the board in there!

ScubaK9: Good to have you here. Do you like dogs?

Dumbo10606: Welcome. SB is a great place. We discuss a huge range of topics and one can learn a lot if you stay open to new ideas. Another great thing about this board is that playing here often leads to the discovery of some other cool places. For instance... everybody loves Scubatoys.com. These guys sell some great gear at unbeatable prices! It is fun to compare their prices to our prices here at home. They usually smoke us. Best part.... yep... they are authorized dealers for everything they sell. Check 'em out!

FoundNemoTastedGood: Luv that name! Welcome! Watch out for the hot topics... Padi training, internet vs LDS, spare air, BCD vs BP/wing and, of course, DIR vs the world.

elumbatoruan: Good to see ya here. Somewhere around here there is a thread where everyone explains their name. You should find it! :D

krcollins: You're gonna love the DIR Forum... http://scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=166 So... Who's it for Cave? Fernando or Chris and Danny?

Forach: Welcome! You might want to try out the Instructor forum, too. I'm sure that with 30 yrs experience you will have a lot to offer.

scubapig52: Welcome,! You are Paul, right. I don't think you ever directly responded to that question in the "other" thread.

Maybe some of the regulars can chime in with some scubaboard advice... tips on how to post, links to your favorite online store... things like that.

Nice welcome Stephen for the newbies that recently joined us.
I join you in welcoming them and I look forward to some great topics that are of interest to all divers living in the desert state!
There really is alot of experienced people here and it would be great to share our knowledge and dive together at the lake or wherever!

BTW Kevin is trying to get the Diver Down booked for this saturday! Another dam(n) dive! I'm hoping to make it for that.

Stephen! when are you going to finish that cave class! Hubby and I were down in Ackumal while Dave was training couple weeks ago. We are planning our next trip in May. We did our longest dive to date in Gran....3hrs 12min!! 2 stages!
Hmmm Kevin is headed there soon too....I think we almost have enough cave people for a new club!!!

Again, welcome new SB members!
Kaz

We're hoping to finish in Feb... :D

Great idea Stephen:

You guys should check out the SoCal Forum
http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=88

And if your favorite LDS doesn't have a trip planned or you'd just like to explore new sites and drag your non-diver SO (Significant Other), the kids , the dog or whoever along with you for a weekend, Keep your eye on their Monthly Wrinkles (Beach) and Mo2vation (Boat) dives in their Trips & Local Marketplace...Socal Forum
http://www.scubaboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=231

I've had the pleasure of going to a few and they are fun. Different locations every few months (it's a rotation) from LA county to San Diego including Catalina every couple months . Christian (Headhunter) does a great job organizing them and has it down to a science. PM if your interested in car pooling sometime, or I can schlep your gear for gas money :D

Here's the link for their December Wrinkles (Beach) dive at Leo Carillo in Malibu
http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=167283

Mo2vation (boat) dives are done for the year, but I know Christian is busy making bookings for next year. He brokers some great deals for us.

Keep your eye on the Hot Deals forum for some great savings direct from manufacturers, distributors and dive shops.

And...to learn from others mistakes take a peek at the Accidents and Incidents forum

Excellent idea, Stephen!

Let's not forget the Diving Medicine forum in case anyone has a question relating to illness and diving.

For those of you that are instructors, PM Dee. She's the MOD who can set you up for the I2I forum.

Paul, you might want to check out the Business to Business forum. PM NetDoc with this information on this page.

For anyone who is interested, there is a Solo Divers forum.

There is also a Singles forum for you unattached divers out there. Sorry, no link cuz I don't go there. :D

Finally, ScubaBoard does take donations. Please take the time to become a Supporting Member. It's only $39.95 a year and does get you some extras here. And lots of us are supporting members without necessarily advertising it. :D

Welcome everyone! And don't just be active here. Come out to one of our lake trips and meet us in person!

BTW, Stephen, where are you doing your cave training?

Dive-aholic:
