How to get back into (Monterey) diving?

Hey All,

Been spoiled over the last few years, ever since I got certified. Immediately had a dive buddy, until she decided to stop diving about 1 year ago. I'm trying to figure out how best to get back into things, and especially how to find a new dive buddy/buddies. Are there any recommended dive groups/clubs people can recommend? I am in San Francisco.

yahoo groups has a list called ba_diving. Ask either here or over there. Hit me up, or one of the other locals here, I'm sure you'll find a buddy to show you around.

Chuck will chime in with his excellent references for the local dive clubs. The mods should really make it a sticky.

A bunch of us calling the North Coast home, use the website below. We are not on Chuck's list, for some reason. Most of us do use his website in some form or another though. (Swell charts rock!)
