I have encountered many cool creatures while diving and this is primarily what makes diving so appealing for me.
I have seen sea lions, sharks (whale, leopard, grey reef, blacktip, whitetip, dogfish, etc.), mantas, sea horses, sea moths, frogfish, dolphins, and so on.
But there are still so many creatures I haven't seen. I want so much to see them. I would like to dive with sixgill sharks and killer whales on Vancouver Island. I would be happy to dive with whales anywhere. I also want to see a sea dragon in Australia.
What creatures are on your wish list?
A mermaid would probably be the coolest!!
:virus:

A Great White. I want to see it but I don't want it to see me!

on my wish to see list. No particular order---whale shark and blue whale.

A Giant Pacific Octopus, Mola Mola, and a Wolf Eel. I wouldn't mind seeing another Whale Shark, either!

One day I want to dive with Dolphins. Seeing all sorts of different fish and having a shark encouter sounds great, but Dolphins top the list.

Just about everything that everyone already mentioned. :D
