Hi all,

2 days ago I did the following deal on ebay:

Oceanic Regulator Set incl dive computer:

2nd stage Delta II
octopus Delta II
1st stage DX3
computer Datamax pro

The regulators and also the computer look completely unused... no single scratch
All seems to work fine

Total price was ~200$

Just want to know if this was a good deal...
Don´t plan to dive nitrox soon so the lack of nitrox of the computer is no problem at all...

Make sure you have it all checked out before you use it. If the regs have been sitting around for awhile, the o-rings might be bad, so you'll definitely want them bench tested, but even better would be to simply have them serviced.

Sounds like a good deal. Having said that, I would never, ever, ever use a "used" Reg without having it bench tested. BUT, that's just me......

I agree, get it checked out, it won't hurt to have it serviced to "get it on the books" at your LDS.

Mike

Thx all - seems I was quite lucky.
Reason for the good price might be that it is an Int reg that has been sold on german ebay and folks here prefer DIN regs usually...

Yes the regs will definately go to a service before usage.
