Hello

Has anyone else had problems with the DVT valve sticking open. After looking at it it seems that just a tiny build up of sediment around the spring stops it from working.

We were planning on using them as our rental regs but after testing one for a couple of weeks it looks like this could be a bit of a design flaw. If that is the case many other people will have had he same problem though - so how many others have had this problem?

How do you get sediment in to the DVT. Drag it along the beach:confused:
My wife has one for almost a year and no problem,110 dives on it.

Hi Will,

I would tend to agree with 300bar -

It is definitely something that we need to take a look at. Please contact either Ron or Mark in our customer service department at service@oceanicusa.com or 510-562-0500 or 800-435-3483. Feel free to contact me directly should you have additional questions or concerns.

Doug
