We just got these in from Manta Industries this afternoon.
Sure you can make one from bungee but why?
Right out of the box, perfect fit. Lots of colors.
The Manta Regulator Necklace is made from soft yet durable
silicon rubber and is perfectly designed to fit around a diver's
neck, with or without a hood keeping your back-up regulator close.
Available in four colors:
black, yellow, blue and hot pink
In STOCK COLORS - Black, Yellow, Blue -- Pink ships next week.

Manta sets the price on these so they are $10.00 each.
cheap at twice the price.
But, you can also get one FREE with any order of $100 or more at TDL.
(while supply lasts)

Nice! The yellow will match my fins. :D Is it possible to be more specific regarding size than regular and extra large?

Joel,
Nice product at a reasonable price. Of course, lots of tech divers would rather make their own out of either bungee, or latex, and I number myself among those. Lots of divers who are newly adopting the long hose do not know how to tie or make their own necklace so their is certainly a need that will be filled by this product.
I use a bungee and place my line arrows and cookies on the necklace. Would line arrows and cookies fit on this material? I also find it appropriate to have two different length necklaces, one that is shorter to use on dives where I am not carrying the arrows or cookies, and a longer one for use with the arrows and cookies.
I applaud your efforts and the people at Manta for making this product, it will help to make the long hose gear configuration more accessible to recreational divers. Keep up the good work!

The Hot Pink is great, but the shipping would cost almost as much as the product itself, I fear.

I played with one of these while at DEMA, I have been making my own for over 10 yars now, in the future I'll just use these. They are cheap, comfortable and work.

Mark, I have been making bungee necklaces on regulators for 16 years now. I have used most every material available. This silicone material is outstanding. As to two lengths -- get one in regular one in extra large. Cookies and Arrows would fit too.

17" neck, the standard fits for me.
Cookies and arrows will fit, but it is snug and I wouldn't want to try and put them on while wearing it in the water. Then again I have some on my goodman, some on my primary reel, and more in my drysuit pocket on a bungee...

Apologies for going a bit OT... but is it appropriate to put your spare reg on a necklace and donate your primary if you aren't running a long hose?
I'm talking about basic pretty-fish rec diving with no situations where you'd need to go single file. In this case it seems like you'd be OK with the standard length hose on the donated reg but I don't want the scuba police knocking down my door. :)
This product looks great.

I've seen people do it. Might want to swap hoses, though... have your primary on the slightly longer octo hose, and vice-versa.

I placed an order today for a few of these. Black for me and yellow for my daughter.
If you ask her "Its all about the colors, and they need to match"
Not sure how you others feel about the colors, but I think the black makes me look thinner.

Probably -- we got so behind on those analyzers I can just kick myself. The sale in November on those was just HUGE ..... we expect all the back order units to be out next week. Now if you send me a nice PM - we can see what we can do on a necklace for you
Cheers
