The Atmos AI battery life estimates confused me.

The manual on page 15 shows:
... Battery should provide from 300 dive hours if you conduct
1 - hour dive each time the unit is activated, to over 600 dive
hours of operation if you conduct two or more dives each time
the unit is activated.

The manual on page 105 shows:
100 dive hours (if 1 - 1 hour dive per day) to over
300 dive hours (if 3 - 1 hour dives per day)

My original battery lasted about 50 dives, 12 activations, for a total of
about 30 "bottom time" hours when the low battery indicator
started showing up at power up. (Sony Battery)
I did LOTS of experimentation with downloading the dive computer
and the download cable may have been
connected for hours during testing.
(This was all over a 6 month period)

I recently replaced the original battery and I have done 2 trips
with 47 dives for a total of 45 "bottom time" hours on the
new battery. (Energizer Battery).
This was 2 activations and there were 4-5 dives per day.

I'm headed on another trip soon and am trying to figure
out if I should replace the battery. (I know, I know for $3,
its probably not worth worrying over; I should just replace it).

But I'd kind of like to get a handle on it.

Questions:

1) If you replace the battery in the 8 second window, do you
really maintain all your repetitive saturation calculations?
I.e. I can continue diving after a "quick" battery replacement?

(If so, that is very cool! and the rest of the questions below, while
interesting, aren't super important)

Other questions of interest:

1) How do I calculate a realistic battery life for the Atmos AI?

2). Does downloading or having the download cable attached
significantly impact batterylife?

3) How much batterylife is left once you start getting the
low battery indication during powerup? i.e. does that really
mean replace your battery ASAP?

4) Does 50 dives, 12 activations, 30 "bottom time" hours, with lots of
download testing, on the orignal battery sound right?

5) Second battery has 47 dives, 2 activations, 45 "bottom time"
hours and downloads for each dive. Would another
activation with 25 dives and 25 "bottom time" hours
be pushing this battery?
