Im sure this has been asked a LOT. but i have been looking for over 40min and only found one site that has a guide on how to web your own harness. (http://www.gasdiving.co.uk/pages/misc/kit/harness_2.htm)

can anyone point me to a better guide?.

The gasdiving guide is pretty good (although not DIR... Shhh) and combined with the 'backplate6' image should be all you need. In the UK backplates can be had from http://www.backplates.co.uk/ or Portland Oceaneering, webbing from your LDS and if you have a good LDS they should have d-rings and weight retainers too.

My ongong complaint about this drawing is that it's hard to tell which way the shoulder straps twist as they go from the top to the bottom outside slots.
