The gasdiving guide is pretty good (although not DIR... Shhh) and combined with the 'backplate6' image should be all you need. In the UK backplates can be had from http://www.backplates.co.uk/ or Portland Oceaneering, webbing from your LDS and if you have a good LDS they should have d-rings and weight retainers too.

My ongong complaint about this drawing is that it's hard to tell which way the shoulder straps twist as they go from the top to the bottom outside slots.
