I don't know much about them, but I'll pass on a story that might be helpful.

My father in law was using one years ago that had a compressor on board, and when the wind shifted it took exhaust into the air intake. He started tasting the exhaust in the reg, turned a bit green, and aborted the dive.

If you get one with a gas powered compressor, make sure it has a feature to prevent that.

That said, you could get an awfully nice set of scuba gear (or two) for what one of those costs. Why pay extra to limit yourself to the length of a regulator hose?

It's not for me, my fathers friend who is scuba certified has a home in mexico, it's a fairly remote area and difficult to get an air fill. So he was looking into a hookah system.

Thanks

get an Airline by J Sink. http://www.airlinebyjsink.com/

The honda engine is covered by warranty at all Honda small engine shops, the compressor is also covered by warranty at all Thomas compressor shops. The Brownies you need to send back to Ft Lauderdale for warranty work.

They do work well, the important thing is maintenance.
