Hello everyone i am new to this site and I thought i would give a quick spiel. My primary dive motivation/passion is caving.I recieved training in the duct tape era via William Dooley at ginnie.I completed apprentice nss training but due to a family difficulty I had to get out.I am now in the process of starting over older and perhaps wiser?I also recieved nitrox training via IANTD when nitrox was considered evil lol.My eventual goal is full cave/sidemount specialist as this is applicable to canadian caves ie marble, leopard frog, pembroke and the west coast karst. My how things have changed but stayed the same!I am a past member of theNSS_CDS and I have just renewed again. The caves i have dove in would be little river.telford, cow, ginnie(all)peacock and i miss them dearly! well thats me in a nutshell and Thanks for this site as everyone seems to have good intentions and lol BTW I dive atx50 and Odins

I live up in Canada as well, but I've never really heard of diveable caves up here? As I have recently completed some cave diving courses and love it, finding some cave diving to do up here would be awesome. Do you know where I might be able to find out some more details about Canadian underwater caves? Thanks in advance.

The caves of Western B.C. and SE Alaska are nasty places to be. It's nowhere near as fun as warm water Florida and Mexico caves. Be very careful if you dive there

Small ,dirty, cold see CDG for similar conditions.I reccommend joining a local caver club i.e Toronto caving group,Vancouver Island caving club etc..in order to find more about local caves and perhaps pick up some mentoring from people experienced in these sites.I do not feel it is prudent to share cave locations on such a public venue as this site.I obtained the information on the caves through word of mouth within a small group of cave divers and was walked through my dives in order to orient myself-caving locally is what I love and being able to resume this pursuit has revitalized me.DO NOT take Canadian caves lightly as they are only similar to a very small fraction of caves in Florida and freezing ,muddy water is in abundance.I am by no means an expert but I believe those in the know would agree with me.A lot of caves here are dove in the winter to optimize visibility-nothing like switching regs on a sidemount kit in teeth/lip freezing water.Dive Safe.
