Have had a great week diving in Malta (with Maltaqua in Bugibba). Managed to complete my AOW and DPV specialty (just for fun). The diving there is great, by my limited experience, I would reccomend it to anyone. The more interesting dives were;

HMS Maori in Valetta harbour - a british destroyer sunk during WWII

Night dive at the blue Grotto (not so blue at night)

The Madonna at Cirkewwa (an statue 'sunk' by a local dive school)

DPV trip from the blue Grotto to the wreck of the Um-el-faroud.

DPV trip to the wreck of the Rozi off cirkewwa.

Best bit is that my girlfriend managed to do her OW while there so in future we can dive together :)

Congratulations to your girlfriend for getting her OW done!
Diving together will only make the relationship stronger. :)
I've always wanted to go to Malta. That's where Malted Milk Balls come from right?
:wink:
Thanks for the report.

Hello Natasha, only Maltesers come from Malta because we have a good reputation for that! Try diving in Gozo next time as we have a better reputation for diving on the sister island.
