Hi there,

I'm new to diving, but have quickly become addicted. I'm looking in to buying my own gear now. I'm in AUS but will be heading to Vancouver Canada soon. I want to buy gear that will be good for cold water. I am looking at the Sherwood Blizzard regulator, Genesis React Pro computer and a second hand poseidon occy.
I can't decide on a BCD. I'm looking at Sherwood Freedom, Sherwood Axis or Genesis Recon.
Down the track I may look into deeper diving etc, so I want some decent gear, but I don't want spend a fortune on "big brand" gear.
Any thoughts, comments or advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

Anton

Cold Water
You will want to go dry suit.
So plan that in the budget.
Dry suit's are bulky so you may need to rethink the size of your BC or consider a BP/Wing with a very adjustable harness (HOG).
