Just bought a 1mm hooded vest size lg but don't know how much weight will sink it. How much more weight should I add to maintain my present boyancy. I am guessing 2 lbs. My bathtub isn't deep enough to simulate a dive or I would drop the vest with different weights on it for at least a ball park.
Any insite out there?
 
Well my Bare 3mm vest with a 5mm hood is 3.5 pounds so I'd have to say that a 1mm vest must be down around a pound, 2 pounds tops.
