Has anyone here taken a snorkeling or snorkel/dive trip with Blue Angel?

We will be down next week staying at the Caribe Blue and my wife is interested in snorkeling.

I believe they have a 10am combo trip with snorkelers and divers.

Yes, I was wondering how the quality of the diving was on those combo trips.

go back a few pages in the posts. There were some posts awhile back from cruisers who did the Blue Angel combo trips and they really liked it. Only one of them was a diver so it was just him and the DM diving while the rest of his group snorkeled with another guide. If I remember correctly, they took them to one of the Palancar sites and to Maracaibo Shallows.

It's from October, but it should give you a good idea of what to expect. I'm pretty sure there was a newer post from another cruise family, but it's probably buried within some other thread.

Yup, we just hired the boat for our group and two dived while the rest snorkelled. We hit Paradise I think and the divers had a great time - the snorkellers thought the whole day was very cool.
