I'm thinking about looking at wetsuits soon. Most of my diving is in a local quarry (Millbrook) with occassional trips to the Outerbanks. The quarry averages about 50 - 60 degrees in the summer depending on the depth. Initially I was thinking about getting 7mm. But now I'm thinking about a 5/4 with a vest or maybe even a 3mm and vest.

Pros and cons???

50F..... how about 7mm & a hooded vest

Layer it on! I have worn a 3mm shorty with a 7mm jump suit worked great. Fingers and toes got cold first...
