I'm taking both my 3mm wetsuit (worn w/ 3mm hooded vest) & a new 5mm on a liveaboard, switching back & forth in order to put on a dry suit each dive. What would you say is typical as far as adding weight to my BC for the 5mm from the 3mm?

When I switched from a well worn 3mm to a brand new 5mm I had to add 4lbs diving with an AL80 and 2lbs with a LP steel 95. When I'm doing 3+ dives a day I like to bring two skins so I always have a dry skin under my suit. It's less to pack and I'm still starting out dry. Between dives I leave my suit inside out so the inside dries out a bit too.
