Does anybody have experiance with these two wet suits? I'm kinda torn between the two. I'm not sure which would provide more warmth. I know that Semi-Dry suits are supposed to be warmer because you don't have the water exchange to the level that you would with a regular wetsuit. But would that make the suit warmer than a 7/5mm standard wet suit?

Here's the specs...

TILOS 5/4MM SEMI-DRY TITANIUM JUMPSUIT ($139.99)

5/4mm Titanium coated neoprene fullsuit - superior warmth
5mm throughout the main body for greater warmth
4mm strategic panels for better fit and mobility
Adjustable velcro collar - helps keep cold out
Pre-bent Durable Rubber Knee Pads with foam for extra flexiblity and comfort
Skin seal neck/back/wrist - helps keep cold out
Zippered Ankles provide comfortable fit, tight seal
Back Zip with Leash (pull cord)

NEOSPORT BY HENDERSON 7/5MM JUMPSUIT ($139.90)

7mm throughout the main body for greater warmth
5mm strategic panels for better fit and mobility
Great flexibility
Adjustable velcro collar
Back Zip with Leash (pull cord)
Reinforced Durable and flexible kneepads

I dive the Neo-Sports.

They hold up quite well and are, in my opinon, one of the best wet suit values one can find.

But would a 5/4mm Semi-Dry with a titanium lining be better than a suit with just more neoprene? What my objective is, is to dive in the gulf off Panama City during the winter when the water temps get down to the upper 50's - low 60's

I have the NeoSport 7/5mm. I love the suit except for one minor inconvenience: The back zipper track is only about 60% as long as the rest of my suits. When it only goes about half way down your back, it makes it a real bummer trying to get it on and off. Other than that, the suit was a great buy. (Especially for what you could pay for other suits)

Some report that the titanium lining is, for the most part, a marketing tactic.

What is the cost difference between the two?

They're both around the $140 mark on SCUBA.com. I just noticed that scuba.com also has a TILOS 7/5MM SEMI-DRY TITANIUM JUMPSUIT for around $160.00
