We have a dive shop in the region that preaches the Aeroskin polyolefin jumpsuits. He recommends that and a 5mm John and Jacket for New England ocean diving. I did dive with one woman using that configuration and she was doing just fine. His selling points are consistent, extra warmth without the buoyancy.

The polyolefin suits are a different animal than the lycra dive skins in this thread that also touches on polyolefin.

It nothing else it will good to have for sun scrape and sting protection in warm water.

The aeroskin polyolefin is great to add warmth to a cold dive but also to help donning a wet wetsuit for a previous dive. however I finded that my movements were a little bit restricted by the back zipper. Maiby I would recommand a front zipper.
