I think I will be joining you on the boat. I have to see if I can get a buddy to go along.

See ya there dude... It'd be great to meet you -- you're the northcoast diver guy right? I'm looking for people to show me the ropes of the north coast. No worries about having a buddy---either match up on the boat or you can chill with us.

-Nate

p.s. My buddy will be Eric.

Yep, I am with North Coast Divers. I will go ahead and sign up for the dive on Sunday and hang with you guys. Thanks for the invite. Sadly, the swells seem to be kicking up quite a bit, so it's possible the boat might cancel.

Hmm... I might be in too, though I'm not all that excited about heading out if the swells kick up to 13'. Going to keep an eye on the forecast for now.

Did you sign up already, Andy?

Hi Scott,

Not yet, if you are interested we could wait a make a decision tomorrow. It would be nice to have you as a buddy.

Hmm... maybe soaking up calm, warm water in Bonaire all last week has caused me to go soft, but 20' combined seas and 40 knot winds are enough to cause me to find a land-based activity for Sunday. I hope the forecast settles down for you guys.

Angry Poseidon:
.SUN...NW WINDS 15 TO 25 KT...INCREASING TO 30 TO 40 KT. WIND
WAVES 3 TO 8 FT. NW SWELL 10 TO 12 FT. CHANCE OF RAIN.

You weren't looking at Monterey, further down the report:

SUN
NW WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 2 TO 3 FT. NW SWELL 8 TO 11
FT. CHANCE OF RAIN.

Still, much nicer on Saturday.

I was looking at the PIGEON POINT TO POINT PIEDRAS BLANCAS TO 20 NM forecast outside of the bay (where I'd hope to go if I sprung for a trip on the Cypress). Inside the bay sounds better, but I think I'll still take a pass.
