A Dallas-based dive shop has a couple of openings for a trip on a liveaboard (Baruna) in May. The cost is about $2,100 plus airfare. There currently are six people signed up; we will have the entire boat (110'), and need one or two more divers to firm-up the trip. The dive leader (10k+ dives) goes to Bali and environs two-to-four times per year. Before signing up, I checked with a Bali-based dive club, which told me that the planned dive sites are the best sites in the Komodo area; I am not surprised since, based on my experiences on a trip with this guy to Costa Rica several years ago, the boat will go wherever the dive leader tells it to go.
