Atmos 2 help with 'puter download please!!

Ok anybody out there want to walk me through the download on the PC set up for the Atmos 2 computer? I am a 'puter idiot...... Will it hook-up to the Atmos 2 without any actual dives on it?

You'll be able to play around with the program and manually entered dives. There should also be 'sample diver' data - but without dives on your computer, there is no data to download.

Hi CheddarChick,
To start a download, you need to make sure you're in the application, and you have selected one of the topics listed under Dive Log on the left of the screen. This then adds additional buttons to the top of your screen, you'll want to look for the red "+" once you click on that, you'll be prompted to either enter a dive manually, or via computer. Yes, very intuitive...

Anyway, that'll open up a seperate program that allows you to talk to you dive computer via the USB cable (the usb cable is really just a USB to Serial Link, so nothing special there) plug the cable both into your computer and then your dive computer. At the top of that window, you can click "Test" which will report if it found the Dive computer or not. On mine, I had to physically hold the cable against my dive computer for it to maintain it's connection.

Anyway, once you have dives logged, that'll be how you download them. Although the program is painfully frustrating...
