Tuck it under so it lays flat under your suit, that's where a buddy is often handy.
If you have a 2 PC suit it's usually over the shoulder straps but under the jacket.

Just be careful not to fart. It'll make your hood swell up and it'll scare your dive buddy. 
Cut it off and you wont' have to worry about it ever again.
