ACI Error ... Any ideas?

I recently upgraded to the latest version of the Aeris ACI ... version 2.1.2. Prior to that I was able to open up the dive downloader and download my dives with no problems. Now, when I attempt to launch the dive download software I get the following error:

Run-time error '429':

ActiveX component can't create object

... and then the software crashes. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how'd you fix it?
