I tried out a pair of Insta-dry 3mm gloves this last Saturday. Normally my hands getting cold dictates my dive time. For me anything beyond 3mm is just to thick to fool with and I have been thinking of a dry glove system....however after using the insta-drys I won't need them anytime soon... my hands were warm for a 74 min dive time in 55 degree water and I had great dexterity to boot..now how well they will hold up I don't know but if they last a year that would be ok I guess.

I've been very happy with the warmth of my 3mm Insta-Dry's as well, here in SoCal with similar-to-colder water temps. Will definitely buy again when I wear these out. :)

My Gold Core 6.5 mm glove isn't warmer than a dry glove in 40 degree water.
