I bought a Sherwood 100cf cylinder today. I went to this page:

http://www.sherwoodscuba.com/product.php?product_id=176

to get the buoyancy characteristics. It says that the 100cf tank has buoyancy of -5.3 lbs when full.

According to this thread:

http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=30824

dry air weighs 0.08 pounds at room temp, which gives me an air weight of 8 pounds in the bottle when full.

Am I doing something wrong, or does that mean that this steel tank is 2.7 pounds positive when empty??
