has anyone heard of changing the attached soft boots on any drysuits to a larger size, is it possible? And more importantly, is it expensive?

Easy to do and not that expensive. Call the suit mfg and see what they charge and check with the LDS's in your area that carry that brand to see if they can do it. I do my own.

Easy and affordable. I send my drysuits out to Superior Diving Repair. Had him add a pocket an change seals once and a second time to replace a zipper. My wifes suit is there now to swap the turbo boots for socks/rock boots.

Both time my suit was there, there were some pinhole leaks on a couple seams. They fixed them as a matter of course.

my LDS installed bare neoprene boots on my DUI tls 350 (nylon shell suit) for $100
