Has anyone dived in Dubai before?

Well as a scuba borad virgin would like to say how useful this place is loads of info on all aspects of diving. Well i was wondering if anybody has any information about diving in Dubai? Ai im looking to go out here in Jan -Feb next year and would like to do some diving and possibly complete my resuce qualification (PADI).

Yes, I was there in November, while it was still warm! In Dubai I have dived with Pavillion Dive Centre and you can check the link below.

I really like them, though they are quite expensive compared to other dive centres.

Also ther are other places like

Most of the dive sites in Dubai are wreck dives.

If you can you should also go to the east cost where it's much better. Better vis, nice marine life etc.

How long are you going to be staying in Dubai? If you’ve never been before I’m sure you’ll be impressed with the place. Take it easy on the night life though or your head will be way to sore for any diving. Charmed has wired you in on the right people to contact, if you need any other info on what’s going on in Dubai let me know. I live about four hours drive away and visit regularly. I’m going to spend Christmas there and maybe sample some of the diving as well. As for being expensive that depends on where your coming from.
