Dove yesterday at Breakwater in Monterey. Calm entry, although a slight tug towards the pier. Visibility at about 20-25 feet, water temp 50 degrees. Didn't see any fish but found the metridium field off the left side of the pier sitting in about 40' of water. Lots of decorator crabs, starfish, and - of course, metridium.

Dove in a 7mm 1 piece with a hood vest (5/3) and gloves, boots, etc. VERY nice dive. Not alot of checkouts going on - presumably because of the holiday weekend.

Well, another week of new diving but on April 21 I'll be on Beach hopper 2. Unfortunately I need to go get a pair of new fin and also my eye prescription is changing too. To much to do and so little time. :( Plus my back is hurting so much. Anyways, I'm glad you had a fun dive. Hopefully we'll join for a fun dive and I'll show you how I can be a nasty little boy and messing with the jellyfish or the metridium!
