I'm just wondering, because I have heard 'Mares' Pronounced Several Differen't Ways. Can SomeBody Please inform me on the Correct way to Pronounce 'Mares'?:bonk:

My French-Canadian friend pronounces it "Bou-shah". I've heared people pronounce it "Bou-shaht" also.;)

I called their California office, they pronounced it MARS. Not the way I've been saying it for years...

it's an Italian surname.

then simply saying 'read it as it is written' would mean something to you :) But that not being the case... It's like word 'red' for us - we just read it as it is written. I'll try to explain it. MAR is read as english 'smart' without s and without t. ES is read as english 'mess' without m.
I know it sounds complicated but I hope I've helped :)
