...I am guessing it is related to all this fuss about deck hands unless you have a waiver?
And another thing, the developer taking over Kewalo Basin is going to require 5 million liabilty on all boats and 3 mil on their vehicles and the boat slip fees will go up from 10 dollars a foot to 25 dollars. (I am hearing)
Holy cow, the costs are going thru the roof for the operators in Waikiki. All the regulations and the price of real estate is going to put the sting on. Tourists come here and want the Mexico prices....

I heard there is a worldwide helium supply shortage, I also heard there is a worldwide oxygen shortage and that in Hawaii you must have an Instructor Card in order to go beach diving...I also stayed at a holiday inn express last night

My slip is being rebuilt, my slip will probably double at Ko-ko marina.

Really? It happens fairly regularly here. The CG guys are usually pretty nice.

Do you have a special license to dock your boat on the street?
If the CG realy wants to get pickie, deck hands are required to have a SCTW95 and someone on the boat needs a commercial radio operators license.
